Because this device doesn't have replaceable probes, it is not recommended for dogs with long or thick fur. If this is your dog, look at the X1500 or PT200.

This collar sorted my super annoying chihuahua out almost straight away without using shock, just sound and vibration. Now if he barks, just having it on deters him. He hates it, it's awesome.
Today I lost the ecollar device as the nylon collar would slide off the buckle bit. Dogs must have got a bit rough during play time at the beach. That's the only weakness in this collar really. I'll now be looking for one with a more secure collar attachment.
I usually do not complete reviews for the products I purchase on the internet.
However, your product is exactly what we wanted and needed.
We used it for our young Maremma in the paddock when he got too exited about kangaroos
and kept the neighbours awake. We used the bell and the buzzer only to encourage him to come back when we called him. The electric signal would not work through his fur and was not needed, because the vibrating buzzer distracted him enough. I guess we can always tighten the cpllar and use the extension caps. I should have ordered the one with three channels, because now his mother can also benefit from the support when she is watching the house at night.
The collar, the remote control and the receiver are very good quality. They will be hard to break and I was surprised about the details and finish. I had to find out that the sound signal cannot be increased;
It works on level 00 loud enough. Extremely helpful is the green light on the receiver to locate the dog easily at night, great idea.
Altogether the product receives a 10 out of 10 and is great value for money. We should have bought it much earlier.
I have two double merle border collies, both deaf and this product has helped me communicate with them and train them recall. One of them has come far enough that I can use it to train her on stock so she can do what she was bred for.
Also helps to train the new dogs in environments where they are over stimulated, a slight nudge with the vibration brings them back to their body and able to listen to you.
